Penfield Golf Club - Membership

Penfield Golf Club aims to promote the game of golf and all things relating to the game. Our business objective is to encourage new memberships by providing a range of membership options that provide affordable and enjoyable golfing experiences.

Members can enter regular competitions for male, female and mixed formats and also aspire to Pennant competition. Male members have competitions on Saturday and Wednesday, ladies have competition on Tuesday mornings and there is a mixed competition on Thursday and Sunday. There are also many opportunities to play social golf with other members and visitors. You will also get access to private members information on your exclusive web site.

Memberships are currently available in the following categories;

7 – Day Member
For only $685 you can play 7 days a week and if you have a current AGU handicap you get priority entry to Saturday competitions.

6 – Day member
For only $638 you can play 6 days per week excluding Saturdays, however subject to having a handicap the availability of times and payment of entry fee, you may enter for a Saturday competition but not before 4.00 pm on the Saturday preceding that competition.

5 – Day member
For only $590 you can play Monday through Friday. Subject to having a handicap the availability of times and payment of entry fee, you may enter for a Saturday competition on the Tuesday preceding that competition.

Lady Member
For $590 ladies have exclusive use of the course on Tuesdays up to 12.30 pm and may play 7 days per week but may not enter the members Saturday competition.

7 – Day Pay-as-you-Play Member
For only $300 you get all the privileges of membership including entry to competitions but you must pay a discounted green fee each time you play.

6 – Day Pay-as-you-Play Member
For only $250 you get all the privileges of membership including entry to competitions but you must pay a discounted green fee each time you play, Sunday through Friday.

5 – Day Pay-as-you-Play Member
For only $200 you get all the privileges of membership including entry to competitions but you must pay a discounted green fee each time you play, Monday through Friday.

Lady Pay-as-you-Play Member
For only $200 you get all the privileges of membership including entry to competitions but you must pay a discounted green fee each time you play.

Country Member
For only $411 and provided you live at least 60 kilometres from the club you can enjoy the same privileges of a 7 day member.

Junior Member
If you’re under 18 years of age for only $264 you can play 7 days per week and provided you have a current AGU handicap you can enter all competitions.

Senior Member
If you’re 80 years of age and over, for only $264 you can get all the privileges of a 7 day member.

Social Member
For only $170 you get full use of Clubhouse facilities only.

All fees listed above include AGU levy, PSA levy, Insurance levy, GST and a membership booklet containing the annual playing programme and club rules, and were approved for the 2009/10 club year by the 2009 AGM. Fees are due on 1st March and payable by 31st March each year. Pro rata fees apply when joining through the year. Currently there is no entrance fee for any membership category and no waiting list.

APPLICATIONS Applications for membership are available from the Secretary. Subscriptions are due on the 31st March each year. Changes to the fee structure are normally enacted at the AGM in October each year. Members joining during the year are eligible for a pro-rata reduction to the membership category fee.
