Our clubhouse is fully licensed and open daily except Christmas Day and Good Friday. The clubrooms are available for hire for private functions. There is a large outdoor undercover BBQ area also available for private functions. The clubrooms can seat 70 people café style at tables and many more in a more casual seating arrangement. A dance floor can be installed on request. A pool table, darts board, quoits, etc. are also available for social functions.

Kitchen facilities may be utilised for food warming, preparation and dispensing from a servery and salad bar.

Cabarets are held in the clubhouse infrequently along with trivia nights occasionally.

Friday night teas are a fortnightly event. The menu is advertised in the clubhouse and bookings are recommended. Recently the menu has included fresh fish, chips and salads, schnitzels and grills.

The club will celebrate its Golden Jubilee during 2009/10 and a variety of social and golfing events, beginning on 14th September 2009, will be held to recognise the fifty years we have been playing golf at Penfield. Past members will be invited to participate in all these events. Further publicity will appear in newspapers and SA Golfer as the time draws near. Past members are asked to contact the club before then to update us on their whereabouts and submit any memorabilia for display in the clubhouse during the year.
